我是来自内地的同学，我也支持不废弃繁体字，我
认为简体字虽然字是好写，但无法象繁体
字那样有含义和体现中华五年来的
传统文化，我希望有一天大陆的简体字能回到繁体字上
来！！

Background Information:

南極星 converts input to either Traditional or Simplified Chinese,
but not both. Microsoft input uses Unicode standard which allows
both. SINA accepts only Traditional Chinese and leaves Simplified
Chinese in Decimal NCR (Numeric Character Reference, the &#????;
garbage you saw on the screen.)

This is a temporary fix until SINA will accept Unicode characters
in Simplified Chinese.

As you can see, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese can live
in harmony in the world of Unicode (and so are the people :-)
